The Write Place

The Write Place meets weekly at the Gatehouse as part of the Monday Community Centre drop-in sessions and everyone is welcome to simply come along and take part in our activities, no booking is needed.

We like to discuss all things literary, but one key element of our activities is to encourage guests to let loose their creative urges and produce original works of their own in whatever format they like. Our gallery of works below contains examples of guests’ work from across the years which highlight the previously hidden talent that we are able to bring to light.
