Donate other items

At the Gatehouse there are many items that we need to obtain to help run our organisation, use in operations, or provide to our guests. By donating these items to us you are helping us to both reduce our costs and ultimately to provide more benefits to our guests.

This page contains a few examples of items that you might wish to donate, either from you individually or from an organisation that you represent, but it is intended to be indicative rather than a comprehensive and detailed listing.

If you have any unwanted items you think may possibly be useful, please get in touch via admin@oxfordgatehouse.org or send us a message using the contact form below. We will make individual arrangements for dropping off any items that we confirm we would like to receive as donations.

    Examples of items we can use at the Gatehouse

    Stationery / office supplies items (particularly pens, paper and notebooks).

    PPE and other consumables used during our café sessions (including disposable plates and cups, toilet paper etc.).

    Books - fiction (particularly sci-fi, history and crime), non-fiction (particularly travel, history, philosophy, politics etc., but not gardening or text books), poetry and plays.

    Furniture and other household items to pass on to vulnerably housed guests (N.B. we do not have storage facilities for this type of item, but we may be able to speedily find them a good home after you have contacted us with details).
