We offer a range of other activities, from workshops to group sessions, that offer entertainment, education, creativity, and a chance to socialise.

All services listed below are free access on a drop-in basis with no need to book in advance.

Our literary activity group The Write Place takes place from 5.30pm every Monday during café sessions. See The Write Place page for further contact details.

Thursdays are Board Game Nights, with a range of games to play from chess to Jenga to Boggle, and many more. Come along and join in the fun. Think board, not bored!

    How this service helps our guests

    During our café sessions we run a variety of therapeutic and practical workshops on occasions throughout the year. These can vary from mediation sessions, to chair yoga, to hairdressing, to finance and budgeting courses to podiatry. Nothing is off limits! Guests of the project will also be delivering workshops with support from staff and other guests.
    Every Monday from 5.30pm onwards during our drop-in café sessions an activity group called The Write Place meet up to discuss, read and create all things literary. The Write Place is supported by two volunteers and is creative outlet allowing people to communicate who often wouldn’t have any voice. Each week guests look at different poems and writings and together have a discussion based around what they have read which in turn prompts them to produce literary works of their own.
