Help needed – flyers for the Gatehouse Winter Appeal Nov 24 to Feb 25 need to get flying!

Many of you will know that every year we run an important Winter Appeal to raise funds for the Gatehouse, and not surprisingly we’ll be doing the same again over this winter. We rely on this Appeal to increase donations from individuals, and with continuing pressure on people’s personal finances that is becoming more difficult than ever.

How can you help?

• Firstly, spread the word to people you know. Its simple to send people the flyer, direct them towards our News article, use our social media posts, and talk to people about it.

• The second part requires a little bit more physical effort. We’ve got 6,000 printed copies of our flyer that need distributing to households around Oxford. About half of them will be handed out by two schools that have offered to help, but we need volunteers from the Gatehouse community to distribute the rest. Please talk to / email Sarah (sarahom@oxfordgatehouse.org) to volunteer for distributing a pack of flyers as she is co-ordinating this activity.

This Appeal is a major part of our overall fundraising campaigns, and we need it to be successful in order to continue funding our services at a level that matches demand from our guests.
