The final results are in from our Winter Appeal fundraising campaign, which ran from last November through to the end of February, and they are looking good. In total we raised over £20,000, which was more than twice our target, and those much needed funds will help us to continue providing essential services to our guests over this year.
We'd like to say a huge thank you to everybody who donated to our Winter Appeal, from individuals to businesses, and community organisations including faith groups, schools and colleges. Fundraising events such as baking competitions, raffles and concerts helped to boost the funds, and the result was amazing.
Also massive thanks to all of the volunteers who helped us distribute leaflets promoting our Winter Appeal including Gatehouse volunteers and staff, and pupils from d'Overbroeck's School and Christ Church Cathedral School. Without their help many of our donors wouldn't have known about this campaign.
