We’re looking two further staff members to join our busy team: a part-time Counsellor and a part-time LEAF Project Worker. Counsellor:
The Counsellor will deliver therapeutic support to guests of The Gatehouse, many of whom have experienced trauma, homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges. The role includes direct counselling, initial assessments and caseload management, working in line with best practice and the charity’s values.
This position is part-time (14 hours per week), reporting in to the Services Manager. The salary is £30,000 p.a. FTE (£12,000 pro rata). LEAF Project Worker:
This is a key role within a pivotal and award-winning project that brings together people with lived experience of homelessness for positive change. The main focus of the role is to recruit and support members to access support, training and social activities, brokering opportunities for members to have their voices heard and influence services and policies.
This position is part-time, and involves working 14 hours per week, reporting in to the LEAF Coordinator. The salary is £24,107 p.a. FTE (£11,020 pro rata).
