At the Gatehouse we're providing a safe, welcoming space just for women every Tuesday afternoon from 2.00 to 4.00pm when we open up the doors of our drop-in community centre for our weekly Women's Space. We're also taking this opportunity to show our support for International Women's Day, which is coming up soon on Saturday 8th March.
International Women's Day is an annual event active for more than 100 years which is held to campaign for women's rights globally. This year's theme is to Accelerate Action for gender equality. You can find out more about the organisation and events going on this Saturday on the International Women's Day website.
They also encourage people to donate to charities who provide support for women, and we're hoping that you will show your support in turn by donating to the Gatehouse and helping us continue to offer our Women's Space service in the future. Different ways that you can donate can be found on our Donate Money page.
Our Women's Space is a very special provision that was developed with input from our female guests, and it consists of a range of free services and support detailed on our Women's Space poster, and the Women's Space page of this website. If you, or somebody you know is in need of this support then the Gatehouse Women's Space is waiting to welcome you.
